Louise Shaver Deese
Ella Louise Shaver Deese, 90, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Trinity Place.
Louise was born December 23, 1932, in North Carolina to the late James Thomas Shaver Sr. and the late Verta Mauldin Shaver. She was also preceded in death by husband, Curtis Harvey Deese; son, John Thomas "Tommy" Deese; and siblings, J.T. Shaver, Hazel Rummage, and Pearline Chandler.
The family will receive friends from 1:00pm - 1:45pm, Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow on Sunday at 2:00pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Pastor David Blalock. Burial will follow at the Anderson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at 2225 East Main Street, Albemarle.
Survivors include daughters, Kathy (Greg) Streuber of Stanfield, NC and Brenda (David) Culp of Norwood, NC; grandchildren, Holli (Bobby) Bryant, Heather Ridenhour, Dillon Streuber, Ashley Slack, Michael (Suzanne) Culp, and Chelsey Culp; great-grandchildren, Meliek, Elijah, Kaleb, and Ella Bryant, Kyndle and Sonni Plowman, and Kyliegh Stamper and Charlotte Culp.
Louise was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Stanly Memorial Hospital for over 20 years. She loved to read and color... but she enjoyed her work most of all. Louise loved her grandchildren, watching them play sports and just visiting and talking with them.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharrie.
