Nolie Mildred Fenters Harris
NEW LONDON - Nolie Mildred Fenters Harris, 91, 40005 U.S. Hwy. 52 N., died Monday (May 21, 2001) at her home.
Born Dec. 16, 1909, in Rose Hill, S.C., Mrs. Harris, a daughter of the late John Thomas and Ellen Williams Fenters, retired as a hosiery inspector from Wiscasset Hosiery Mill.
A member of First Baptist Church, she was a former Sunday school teacher and remained active as long as her health permitted.
Her husband, Richard Paul Harris, preceded her in death.
Survivors include sons Richard P. Harris Jr., Culpepper, Va., and Thomas W. Harris, Albemarle; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday, First Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Jason Lee and the Rev. Timothy Swaringen. Burial, New London Cemetery.
Visitation: 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle. At other times the family will be at the home on U.S. Hwy. 52 N.
