Ruby Maxine Greene Bost
BADIN -- Ruby Maxine Greene Bost, 68, 50 Maple St., died Wednesday (March 31, 2004) at her home.
Born Nov. 26, 1935, in Stanly County, Mrs. Bost was a daughter of the late Jessie James and Beulah Almond Greene. She was a homemaker.
A member of Badin Baptist Church, she was a former teacher of the Senior Lady's Sunday School Class. She was a volunteer with the North Carolina Association for the Blind and an honorary den mother and founder of Boy Scout Pack 42. Active in her community and church as long as her health permitted, she was a former member of Tallahassee Chapter 208, Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include husband Herman Lather Bost; daughtersDeborah Bassett, Norwood, and Bonnie Bost, Concord; brother Marvin Junior Almond, Richfield; and four grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Friday, Badin Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Dan Abernathy. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30. Burial, Centerview Baptist Church cemetery, Albemarle.
Visitation: 6-8 tonight, HartsellFuneral Home, Albemarle. At other times, the family will be at the home on Maple Street.
