MONROE - Virginia Brooks Price, age 91, of 1316 Patterson St., Monroe, N.C., died Sunday, January 18, 2009, at Levine Dickson Hospice House, in Huntersville, N.C.
She was born Sept. 26, 1917 in Union County, NC. She was the daughter of the late Julian C. Brooks and the late Isadora James Brooks.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husband, Malcom Lee Price and grandchildren, Brandon Logan Tucker and Virginia Gail Price.
She is survived by her Daughter: Mildred Tucker and husband Logan of Fairview, N.C.; Son: Hank Price and wife Lorna of Fairview, N.C.; Six grandchildren; Fourteen great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Price was Owner and Operator of Price's Hardware & Grocery, Fairview.
