Frederick Eden Holshouser, 85, of Chesterfield, passed on August 21, 2006.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Opal; his children, Mary Nell Kloss, Fred L. Holshouser and his wife, Carolyn and Jean Martin and her husband, Jeff, and Charles Holshouser; brother, Denham Holshouser; grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Erin and Erick Holshouser, Melissa, Dusten and Eden Kloss and Jacob Martin; one great-grandson, Devin Kloss; and daughter-in-law, Cherie Holshouser.
Fred was a WWII veteran. He retired from Southern Railroad, member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Chippenham Chapel. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Richmond. Interment Dale Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Luke's United Methodist Church General Fund.
