Kay Francis (Reynolds) Basinger
Kay Francis Basinger, 84, of Salisbury, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 at home.
Mrs.Basinger was born August 26, 1935 in North Carolina to the late Frank Reynolds and the late Lizzie Elizabeth Black. She was also preceded in death by Husbands, Claude Huston Broome, John Marcelle Basinger, and 2 brothers.
A private family graveside service will be held at Carolina Memorial Park of Kannapolis at 2 O'clock in the afternoon.
Kay loved her family and garden more than anything. She enjoyed laughing and joking with all those who surrounded her and could put a smile on anyone's face with her humor.
Survivors include daughters, Judy Fay Pittman and husband Donald of Salisbury, NC, and Linda Kay Thompson and husband James of Lexington, NC, Sister, Dorothy Freeze of Salisbury, NC, 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
