Katherine Lee Eudy Barbee
Katherine Lee Eudy Barbee, 68, of 8901 Reed Mine Rd., Stanfield, died Wednesday, July 23, 1997, at NorthEast Medical Center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pine Bluff United Methodist Church, Stanfield, where she was a member. The Rev. Arval Rushing will officiate. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. tonight at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. At other times, the family will be at the home.
Born Dec. 16, 1928, in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of the late John Paul Eudy and Ada Catherine Almond Eudy. She was a homemaker.
Her husband, Charlie Ward Barbee, died Nov. 21, 1982.
Survivors include two daughters, Ms. Charlene Barbee of Locust and Ms. Marlene Barbee Eudy of Stanfield; two brothers, Jim Eudy of Ridgecrest and Ray Eudy of Stanfield; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Furr of Mount Pleasant and Mrs. Janie Crayton of Hertford; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to her church.
