GOLD HILL - Floyd Philip "Chip" Culp, 77, of Gold Hill, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Culp was born April 27, 1935 in Rowan County to the late Claude Roosevelt Culp and Letha Canupp Culp.
He retired from American Circuit Breaker after 30 years and was a veteran of the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Jeanette Lowder Culp in April 2012.
Survivors include nephews, in-laws, and numerous special friends.
Service &Visitation:The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m at Hartsell Funeral Home .in Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel and will be officiated by Rev. Ron Honeycutt . Burial will follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory, 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.
Memorials:Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County.
