Dora Mae Morton Corriher 93, of Albemarle, died Thursday evening, October 7, 2010 at Britthaven of Piedmont.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood. Rev. Flynn Richardson will officiate and burial will follow in Porter Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 Saturday Afternoon at the funeral home.
Mrs. Corriher was born July 16, 1917 in Stanly County. She was a daughter of the late Henry and Sunie Floyd Morton and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Carvin Goins and Hubert Corriher and a son Oliver Goins.
She is survived by her daughter Ramelle Biles and husband C.H. of Albemarle. Three sisters, Lillie Morton, Juanita Barbee and Glennie Morton all of Norwood. Six Grandchildren, Five Great-Grandchildren and Six Great-Great-Grandchildren.
