Mary Elizabeth (Lib) Barger White
Mary Elizabeth (Lib) Barger White died suddenly on Saturday, May 24, 2014. She was the daughter of Willie Samuel & Mamie Peeler Barger. Lib was born on December 2, 1920 and lived a happy and full life until the age of 93.
She was predeceased by her parents, her siblings Willette Barger Faulkenberry and P. A. Barger, and her husbands Arnold Howard White and Roy E. Phillips.
She is survived by her brother MJ Barger (Juanita) of Kannapolis, NC, children who include Karen White Small (Larry) of Burlington, NC and their children Betsy Small Huneycutt (Chris), Alex Small (Mara) and Katie Small Konrad; Constance White Baldwin (Stephen) of Charlotte, NC and their children Dr. Andrew Baldwin (Jana) and Anna Baldwin Cordes (Jeff); Dr. Craig Howard White (Doris) of Clear Lake, TX and their daughter Abbey White Payne (Simon); and Janet Carol Fehskens (Ed) of Buffalo, NY and their children Ted Fehskens (Erin), Dr. Matthew Fehskens (Isabel), John Fehskens (Chelsea), Joshua Fehskens (Brittany), Sarah (Sally) Blanton (Anderson) and Mary Grace Fehskens and her fiancé Danny Sileo. Great-grandchildren include Mary Elizabeth Huneycutt, Graham Huneycutt, Anna Small, Kent Konrad, Maggie Konrad, Belle White Payne, Eve Fehskens, Jack Fehskens, Julia Fehskens, Ana Bélen Fehskens and another Fehskens due in January 2015.
She is also survived by her nephew and companion Byron Mabry Russell of Durham, NC along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at First Reformed United Church of Christ located at 513 West Front Street, Burlington, NC followed by a visitation in the Fellowship Hall of the church.
Memorials may be sent to First Reformed United Church of Christ, Burlington, NC.
