GOLD HILL -- William Allen Barringer, 69, 203 Shai Lane, died Tuesday (March 29, 2005) at Rowan Regional Medical Center, Salisbury.
Born March 8, 1936, in Stanly County, Mr. Barringer, a son of the late Allen Monroe and Roxie Mae Vanhoy Barringer, was a loader with Isenhour Brick. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include wife Dorothy Lee Page Barringer, whom he married April 6, 1957, in Gold Hill; daughters Kirksey Taylor, Kannapolis, Patsy King, Faith, and Wanda Godfrey, Gold Hill; sister Brenda Trexler, Salisbury; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, West Park Baptist Church, Rockwell, conducted by the Rev. Charles Carver. Burial at the church cemetery.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday, Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle.
Memorials: West Park Baptist Church, Mission Fund, 715 W. Park Drive, Rockwell, NC 28138.
