Annie D. Harwood, of Dandridge, Tenn., age 90, died Saturday, December 18, 2010, in Jefferson County Nursing Home, Dandridge, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Richard Harwood.
She is survived by her daughter, Zondra H. Leazer of Baneberry, Tenn. and Myrtle Beach, S.C.; her son, Richard G. Harwood and wife, Peggy of Dandridge; two grandchildren, Leslie H. Shamblin and husband Mike of Dandridge, Tenn., David Harwood and wife Melissa of Dandridge, Tenn.; three great-grandchildren, Abby Shamblin and Rachel Shamblin and Anna Harwood; sister, Edna Epps, Richfield, N.C.; brother, Elmer Dick and wife Inez of Ellijay, Ga.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Edwin Vanhoy, Shelby, N.C., brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ray and Helen Harwood of Albemarle, N.C.
The family received friends at Manes Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2010.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Canton Baptist Church, Albemarle, with Charlie Boggan officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Newport, TN.
Manes Funeral Home, Newport, Tennessee, is in charge.
