Arlie Carol Whitley
Arlie Carol Whitley, 82 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at his home.
Mr.Whitley was born March 26, 1935 to the late Lonnie Alexander and Ila Mae Connell Whitley. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Whitley and one son, Danny Whitley.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Harmony Baptist Church - Stanfield. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm officiated by Rev. Jimmie Bartley. Burial will conclude in the First Baptist Church Cemetery, located at 320 South Central Ave., Locust.
Survivors include:son, Carol Lee (Jane) Whitley of High Point; daughter, Brenda Whitley (Marvin) Smith of Locust; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Arlie's church family for their support.
Memorials may be made to Community Home Care & Hospice.
