SALISBURY - Bobby Lee Park, 69, of Salisbury, died Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center following years of declining health and one week of critical illness.
Mr. Park was born June 2, 1936, in Rowan County, a son of the late Carl Milas Hurley Park and Nellie Lee Overcash Park.
Also preceding him in death were sisters Linda P. Thomas on Nov. 9, 2005, and Allerid P. Josey on Dec. 27, 2005.
Mr. Park was a veteran of the Marine Reserves and the U.S. Army. He retired from the granite quarrying industry.
Survivors are wife Brenda R. Lowery Park; sons Wesley B. Park, Carl M. Park and Michael L. Lowery; daughters Angie P. Nichols, Bobbie P. Pope, Tammie P. Stevenson, Debbie P. Snider, Sharon P. Wyrick and Marsha L. Waller; sister Helina Heilig; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Family members may be visited at their homes.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Evergreen Cremation Services is assisting the Park family.
