OAKBORO -- Peggy Sue Eudy Thompson, 56, 19169 Fox Trail Road, died Wednesday (Nov. 5, 2003) at Stanly Memorial Hospital, Albemarle.
Born Aug. 11, 1947, in Stanly County, Mrs. Thompson was a daughter of the late Charlie Spencer and Lillie Mae Teeter Eudy. She was a supervisor at American Lockstitch in Norwood.
Survivors include sons Kenneth Thompson, Quantico, Va., and Michael Thompson, Oakboro; daughter Shelia Garrett, Clayton; brothers Bob Eudy, Albemarle, Charlie Spencer Eudy Jr. and Tom Eudy, both of New London, Rick Eudy, Charlotte, Jim Eudy, Richfield, and Bud Eudy, Gold Hill; sisters Betty Leonard and Brenda Cody, both of Richfield, Joyce Holland, Concord, and Linda Furr, Oakboro; and four grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Hartsell Funeral Home chapel, Albemarle, conducted by the Rev. Hank Parker. Burial, Salem United Methodist Church cemetery, Albemarle.
Visitation: 7-9 tonight at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home on Fox Trail Road.
