James Earnhardt

James Robert Earnhardt, age 91, of Fort Valley, GA, left his earthly life on Friday, 19 January 2024 surrounded by family. James was born in Salisbury, N.C. on 22 December 1932. He is preceded in death by parents James Douglas Earnhardt and Inez Rector Earnhardt, brothers Victor Earnhardt, Sr, and Gregory Earnhardt, and son, Robert Allen Earnhardt.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years Nettie Jo Hilliard Earnhardt, son; James "Jim" Earnhardt, daughters Delia Jordan, Susan Henson (Kirk) and Roberta Earnhardt; granddaughters Amber Shaw, Jamie Dawson (Doug), Kathryn Earnhardt, JoLee Henson Carlson (Trevor), and Hannah Earnhardt; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

The visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 11:00 am at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with Minister Steve Waller officiating. Immediately following the services, family and friends are invited to the American Legion Post 76, 1212 Peach Pkwy., Fort Valley, GA, for a time of food and fellowship.
