CONCORD - Jessie Ilene Page, 85, of 1864 Warren Blvd., Concord, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard "Rich" Page. She was also preceded in death by her parents, James Martin Burris and Julia Joyner Burris . She was preceded in death by three sisters, Myrtle Whitley, Nellie Meinus and Evelyn Hartsell; three brothers, Grover Burris, Ralph Burris and Howard Burris.
She is survived by four sisters, Josephine Blackwelder of Transitional Health Care, Betty Burris of Concord, Julia "Babe" Brown of O'Fallon, Mo. and Geraldine (Jerri) Smith of Concord. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Great-nephews will serve as pallbearers, Brian and Paul Kiser, Joshua and Andrew Hartsell, Darren Baucom and Rodney Smith.
"Aunt Eme" had a very special little girl that was a part of her life that she loved so very much. "Little Madison" was the "little angel" that "Aunt Eme" nicknamed "Sissy" they had a very special love for one another. We all love you and we will look forward to seeing you in heaven waiting for us to enter the gates and welcome us Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 13 at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Farrell Shimpock officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery, Concord. The family will receive friends just prior to the service Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord. The family will be meeting at the home of her nephew Gary Kiser, 7620 Flowes Store Road, Concord, NC.
Memorials may be made to Friendship United Methodist Church, 4695 Mt. Pleasant Road, Concord, NC.
