SALISBURY - Scotty Ray Eagle, 24, of Salisbury, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, in Drake, N.D., from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born July 24, 1987, in Rowan County, he was the son of Geraldine Jones Eagle Hill and the late Clinton Ray Eagle, who died Jan. 1, 2004; and the stepson of Thomas Christopher Hill.
He was educated at North Rowan High School and worked for KRC Building Solutions of Cleveland in the construction industry.
Mr. Eagle was of the Baptist faith.
Including his mother and stepfather, he is survived by his brothers, Ronnie Lee Eagle of Salisbury and Lane Garrett Knapp; grandparents Bill and Vivian Knapp; and niece Cheyanne Eagle.
Visitation: 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27 at Lyerly Funeral Home.
Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27 in the James C. Lyerly Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Wiseman officiating. Burial will follow at Rowan Memorial Park.

SALISBURY - Scotty Ray Eagle, 24, of Salisbury, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, in Drake, N.D., from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
