Baxter Lovelace Wyatt, 83, of 1500 Chilton Woods Drive died Thursday, Dec. 9, 1999.
A native of Rowan, N.C., Mr. Wyatt was a son of the late Pleasant Love Wyatt and Amanda Mayetta Miller and was the widower of Mary Katherine Peninger. He was a machinist.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in Oakdale Baptist Church cemetery, Spencer, N.C.
Survivors include two daughters, Hilda W. Chilton, Rutledge, and Sheila D. Bradley, Covington; three sisters, Ruby Walton, Spence, N.C., Louise Adam, Spencer, N.C., and Evelyne Smith, Salisbury, N.C.; a brother, R.L. Wyatt, Winston Salem, N.C.; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today at Lyerly Funeral Home, Salisbury, N.C.
Simmons Funeral Home, Madison, has charge of local arrangements.
