Janice Heglar Bish, 82, of Locust passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at home under Hospice care.
Funeral services will be Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Palestine United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 4-6 p.m. at Stanly Funeral Home of Albemarle.
Born April 20, 1940 in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Heglar and Mable Cranford.
She was a retired caregiver and a church member at Palestine United Methodist Church. She loved flowers and her church family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bish, son Kelly Stallings and daughter Debra Drye.
Survivors include daughters Kimberly Bara (Michael) of Locust and Teena Morgan (Randy Poplin) of Albemarle, Brothers Steve Heglar of Michigan, Larry Heglar (Doris) of New London, and Eddie Heglar of Richfield, son-in-law David Drye of Albemarle, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
