Clara Kirk Hartsell, 85, of West End died on Thursday, January 24, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, January 27 at 4:00pm at Taylor Memorial Church. The Rev. Zeb Moss and Rev. David Hicks will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Born in Moore County, Mrs. Hartsell was a daughter of the late Harvy Monroe and Mary Clayton Kirk. She was a member of Taylor Memorial Church for over forty years and a piano player for both Taylor Memorial and Deep Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons: Samuel Hartsell of West End, Lloyd Kirk Hartsell of Aberdeen, and Vic LeRoy Hartsell of Sanford; and one daughter; Mary Elizabeth Minor of West End.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Saturday, January 26 at Boles Funeral Home in Pinehurst.
Memorials may be directed to Taylor Memorial Church, Jackson Springs, NC; or Deep Creek Baptist Church, Pinehurst, NC.
