Jill Helms Martin, 64 years of age, of Marshville, passed away Monday, April 25, 2016 surrounded by family.
Jill was born February 13, 1952 in Stanly County to the late Fred Adam Helms and the late Hazel Whitley Helms. She was also preceded in death by brother, Ronnie Fred Helms.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 4:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Marshville, and will be officiated by Rev. John Miller, and Rev. Rile Baucom. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery at 7002 Pleasant Hill Church Rd., Marshville.
Survivors include: husband, Mitchell Lee Martin of Marshville; daughter, Candice "Candy" (Kevin) Baucom of Marshville; son, Stacey Martin of Marshville; two brothers, Jeff Bingham Helms and Ricky David Helms; seven grandchildren, Abigail, Preston, Naaman, and Carley Martin, and Hayden, Emmett, and Sophie Claire Baucom.
