Mrs. Lillie Eudy White, age 93 of Albemarle, NC passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Sandy Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care, Candor, N.C. Her service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, January 22, 2017 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel, Albemarle, NC with the Rev. Wayne Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Park, Albemarle, NC. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM prior to the hour of the service.
Mrs. White was born in Stanly County, NC on September 21, 1923 to the late Jacob Eudy and Bessie Thompson Eudy and was a homemaker. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and painting.
Mrs. White was married to the late John Darrell White who preceded her in death February 7, 2011. She is survived by two daughters; Sylvia White Efird of Albemarle, NC and Fonda White Evans of Mayodan, NC, four grandchildren, Brentt Coley, Summer Evans, Patrick Efird and Leah Lambert, four great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Broadus Eudy and Jim Eudy, one sister, Flossie Price preceded her in death.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
