Hilbert Jones Misenheimer, Jr., age 82, of Gibsonville, North Carolina passed away on Saturday February 23, 2019. Hilbert was born August 27, 1936 in Rowan County, North Carolina to Ruby Miller Misenheimer and Hilbert Jones Misenheimer, Sr. A graduate of Gray High School in Winston-Salem, Hilbert went on to study mathematics at Wake Forest and was a member of the Naval Reserve. He settled in High Point where he worked as a draftsman and later moved to Gibsonville to be close to family.
Hilbert is survived by; daughter Heidi McBride (Sammy), brother Milton Misenheimer (Kathy) and sister Bonnie Seymour (Powell). Family also includes two grandchildren, a great-grandchild, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Hilbert was preceded in death by his wife Lynda Lou Lancaster Misenheimer; father Hilbert Jones Misenheimer and mother Ruby Misenheimer.
A visitation will be held Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sechrest Funeral Service, 1301 E Lexington Ave, High Point. A burial of cremains and graveside service will occur Friday, March 1, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 3250 High Point Road, Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
