Judy Troutman
Judy Elizabeth Troutman, 72, of Salisbury passed away Monday, December 19, 2016, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. Judy was born on January 31, 1944 in Salisbury daughter of the late Wilbert Tell Troutman and Amanda Ruth Eller Troutman.
Miss Troutman was a graduate of East Rowan High School and had worked at Leisure Lads and Fiber Industries before retiring. Judy was a member of Providence United Methodist Church, enjoyed church trips, gardening, knitting, crocheting, and coloring. She also enjoyed taking care of seniors and children as long as her health permitted and being with friends and family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Lincoln Tell "Buddy" Troutman and Joseph Howard Troutman and twin sisters Allene Lakey and Pauline Wagoner.
Survivors include sister Lillian Callicutt of Salisbury, brother, Donald Troutman of Salisbury and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: A time of visitation will be on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 1:30-2 pm at Providence United Methodist Church in Salisbury.
Service: Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 pm on Thursday following visitation at the church with Rev. Aldana Allen, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The American Diabetes Association.
