FAITH - Kenneth O. "Butter Bean" Honeycutt, 80, of Faith, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at Rowan Regional Medical Center.

Born Oct. 6, 1932, in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Pearl Wyatt Honeycutt and Joe Thomas Honeycutt.

Kenneth was a graduate of Rockwell High School. He was retired from Norandal and was a self-employed brick mason. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Kenneth loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and coached his five children through Little League. His favorite teams were the Duke Blue Devils and the St. Louis Cardinals.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by wife, Kitty Robertson Honeycutt on Sept. 9, 1997; son, Keith Honeycutt on Dec. 20, 1996; daughter-in- law, Linda R. Honeycutt on April 13, 2010; brother, Thomas Ray Honeycutt; and sisters, Frances Park and Mae Honeycutt.

Those left to cherish his memory are sons, Thomas (Sally) Honeycutt of Faith, Dennis Honeycutt of Faith, Dale (Sandy) Honeycutt of Gold Hill, and Jeff (Terri) Honeycutt of Faith; brothers, Robbie (Annette) Honeycutt of Winston-Salem and John (Barbara) Honeycutt of Blacksburg, Va.; sisters, Helen Brown of Harrisburg, Va. and Lillie Isenhour of Richfield; grandchildren, Jason Honeycutt, Jordan Honeycutt, Ansley Honeycutt, Eric Honeycutt, Jessica Honeycutt, and Kristen Honeycutt.

Visitation and Service: 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19 at Faith Baptist Church. Service will follow at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Joe Smith. The burial will follow at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be at the residence at other times.
