Joyce Lambert Martin, 69, of Norwood passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 in Stanly Manor. Her funeral service will be 11 AM Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Spivey officiating. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 PM.
Born January 10, 1946 in Stanly County, NC she was the daughter of the late Ramond Alexander Lambert and Lottie Efird Lambert and was a homemaker. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Bobby Ray Martin of the home. Other survivors include son Bobby Wayne Martin and wife Angela of Albemarle and daughter Anita Martin Clark and husband Randy of Oakboro, sister Martha Lambert O’Neil and husband Mike of New London, 4 grandchildren: Heather Simpson Coe and husband Cory, Brittany Simpson Anderson, Bobbie Martin Efird and husband Jarrett and Matthew Todd Martin, and 3 great-grandchildren: Natalie Paige Taylor, James Michael Coe, and Connor Luke Anderson.
A brother Gene Lambert preceded her in death.
