Jerry Eugene Fraley, 88, of Salisbury, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC.
He was born May 14, 1935 in Rowan County to the late Samuel and Faye Barger Fraley. Jerry attended Granite Quarry High School and later worked for City Motor Company, Paul Bost, GE, and Bendix. He was of the Lutheran faith.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his siblings, Dwight Fraley, June Fraley, Elizabeth "Libby" Bame, and Nell Louise Fraley Emory.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Anne Trexler Fraley, whom he married March 16, 1963; two daughters, Connie Anderson and husband Olin of Advance, NC and Wendy Tuck and husband Ronald of Rockwell; two grandchildren, Jenna Elizabeth Tuck and Landon John Tuck.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, in the Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC, with Rev. Mike Herring officiating.
Burial will follow in the Brookhill Memorial Gardens.
