Beatrice Kluttz

Mrs. Beatrice Cauble Kluttz, 91, of Rockwell passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks. She was born on July 31, 1923 in Stanly County a daughter of the late Martin Alexander and Lilly Rosetta Sides Cauble.

Mrs. Kluttz was a graduate of Rockwell High School and retired from Cannon Mills Plant #1 in Kannapolis. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, former member of the Boger, Brown, Miller Circle, Sunday School Teacher, the choir and Alter Guild. Mrs. Kluttz enjoyed gardening and loved quilting, making quilts for all her grandchildren, great grandchildren and special quilts for them as wedding gifts.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer Carlton Kluttz, brothers, Dewey Cauble, Monroe Cauble, Sam Cauble and Sebe Cauble; and sisters, Marva Johnson, Bertha Burris, Mary Troutman, Willene Efird, and Dora Lyerly.

Survivors include son, Richard Kluttz and wife, Joyce of Rockwell; daughters, Susie Peeler of Rockwell and Mary Frazier and husband, Jim of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Ellen Vanderburg, Joseph Kluttz, John Kluttz, Eric Patterson, Jeffrey Patterson, Mendy Brady and Christy Mullinax, and 16 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation: The Family will be at Powles Funeral from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM Wednesday, April 8, 3015.

Services: Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, Powles Funeral home Chapel conducted by Rev, Bruce Sheeks, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rockwell, NC.
