Chesapeake - Edna Lee Phillips, 89, of the 2300 block of East Bugle Dr. passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 in her residence. She was born on October 26, 1922 in Faith, NC; and was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Phillips and her parents, Edgar and Letha Agner.
Those left to cherish her memory are her four daughters, Carol L. Williams, Patricia A. LeMasters, Deborah A. Anthony and Brenda Susie Williford; two sons, Richard A. Phillips and David B. Phillips; a sister, Roana Bost; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 25 in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel by Rev. Frank Jennings. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
