Justina Lowder Allman
Justina Lowder Allman, 89, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, Monday, September 11, 2023 at Accordius of Concord.
Funeral service will be 12noon Thursday, Sept. 14 at Gold Hill Wesleyan Church, 830 Liberty Rd. Gold Hill, NC 28071, officiated by Rev. Mark Loman; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Allman family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 prior to the service.
Mrs. Allman was born April 26, 1934 in Cabarrus County, daughter of the late Grover C. Lowder and Mary Misenheimer Lowder. She was a member of Gold Hill Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed working in flowers and in her yard. She worked in textiles, in the weaving department, and taught weaving for over 45 years. She centered her life on her family and church family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Allman.
She is survived by her son Mark Allman (Dee); daughter Venita Kimrey (Terry); brother Carson Lowder; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Gold Hill Wesleyan Church, Building Fund, 830 Liberty Rd., Gold Hill, NC.
