Donnie Barbee Page, 94 years of age, of Locust, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 6, 2015.

Mrs. Page was born April 7, 1921 in Stanly County, NC to the late Realus Barbee and the late Joy Hartsell Barbee.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ed Page; her son Robert Page; daughters, Eva Lee Page and Nancy Smith; her grandson Wendell Gardner; sister Ruby Barbee; brother Willie Barbee; sister Martha Lowder; sister Mary Little; brother Bobby Barbee; sister Betty Osborne; brother Joe Barbee; brother Claudie Barbee, and infant child.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm - 3:00pm on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Carolina Presbyterian Church in Locust. The funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00pm, officiated by Rev. David Yoran. Burial will follow at the Locust Presbyterian Church Cemetery at 607 W. Main Street in Locust.

Survivors include her daughters Clara "Sissy" Churchill and husband Walt of Locust; Kay Ridenhour and husband Barry of Locust; Debbie Fevurly and husband Rick of Parker, AZ; son, Eddie Page of Locust; Rickey Page and wife Tami of Concord; nine grandchildren, as well as twelve great-grandchildren.

Miss Donnie was a devoted mom of eight children. She was a very kind and loving person who always put the needs of others ahead of her own. She enjoyed working with flowers, gardening and canning. She found great joy in sharing her canned foods with everyone. Donnie enjoyed spending time with the church seniors, and going on trips with them. She was very active in her church, where she loved teaching the young children.
