Rachel Agner Wagoner 77, of Salisbury passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House. Rachel was born on January 20, 1938 in Salisbury, a daughter of the late Joe and Pearl Cauble Agner.
Rachel was a member of Providence United Methodist Church, she was a member of the choir and active in Sunday School while her health permitted, she was a past member of the United Methodist Women. Rachel loved to fish and garden.
In addition to her parents, Rachel is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robert "Bobby" Wagoner; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Rachel is survived by her son, Chuck Wagoner of Salisbury; and brother-in-law, Larry Wagoner.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 24, 2015 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Powles Staton Funeral Home in Rockwell.
The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Providence United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Aldana Allen, Pastor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Rachel may be made to the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House 1229 Statesville Blvd Salisbury NC 28144.
