Peggy Carriker Caulder
Peggy Carriker Caulder, 84, of Norwood, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022 at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Josh Phillips will officiate and burial will follow at Norview Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Caulder was born on January 3, 1938 in Stanly County to the late Homer Lee and Bertha Almond Carriker. She was a 1956 Norwood High School graduate and retired from First Union Bank. She was also a member at Memorial Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Bill Caulder; and her sisters: Frances Underwood, Faye Blalock, and Vallory Story.
She is survived by her daughters: Susan Monk (Stephen) of Winston- Salem, Ann LaMacchia (John) of Knoxville, TN, and Sandra Tollie (Chris) of Norwood; Five grandchildren: John LaMacchia (Andrea), Elizabeth Lanier (Erv), Pierce LaMacchia, Charlie Monk (Liz), and Michael LaMacchia; three great-grandchildren: Lilly, Erickson, and Deacon; one brother: Troy Carriker; her faithful companion, Sassy; and several special and loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to be made to Hospice of Stanly and The Uwharries: 1024 Albemarle Road, Suite 904 Troy NC.
