Carrie Isabelle Bowers Huneycutt
Carrie Isabelle Bowers Huneycutt, 84, of 28086 N.C. Hwy. 73, Albemarle, died at 5:20 p.m. Sept. 28, 2009, at the Lutheran Home. Her funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Mark Medlin will officiate and burial will be in Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home from 1 until 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service.
Born Oct. 1, 1924, in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Jonah Green Bowers and Essie Lambert Bowers and was a graduate of Millingport High School. She was a retired employee of Stanly Memorial Hospital and was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church. She was married to the late Clyde James Huneycutt who preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
She is survived by a son, Ronald James Huneycutt and wife Christina of Albemarle; a daughter, Lisa H. Maidene and husband Kenneth of Albemarle; and three grandchildren, Amee, Mitchell and Summer.
