Nellie Louvine "Lou" Efird Glenn

Nellie Louvine "Lou" Efird Glenn, 81, of Mooresville, NC, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at her residence. She was born on July 12, 1932 in Albemarle, NC, to the late Jacob Irenus and Nellie Mae Eudy Efird.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Marshall & Jerald Efird; sister, Patricia Efird and a son, Bryant Steven Glenn.

Lou graduated from Fort Mill High School in 1950. She retired from First Union Bank (Wells Fargo) after 25 years of service as a Consumer Loan Service Manager.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles E. (Buddy/Chuck/Sarge) Glenn; sons, Chuck and Teresa Glenn of Davidson, NC, Kevin and Jennifer Glenn and Terry and Jamie Glenn both of Mooresville; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sisters, Ethlyn Hammond and Kathleen Jackson both of Fort Mill, SC.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, October 28 at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home from 5:00 – 6:30 pm. Services will begin at 7:00 pm in the Cavin-Cook Chapel with Dr. Eric Eanes officiating. Burial will be on Tuesday, October 29 at 11:00 am in Grand View Memorial Gardens in Rock Hill SC.

Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County.
