Myrtle Ingram Miller

SALISBURY - Myrtle Ingram Miller, 91, of Salisbury, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005, at the home of son Kenneth Miller of Gold Hill.

Mrs. Miller was born Sept. 25, 1914, in Iredell County, a daughter of the late Rockwell "Bud" Ingram and Lillie Jane Lee Ingram. She was educated in Pleasant Garden schools and retired from R.W. Normans as a seamstress. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by husband Oscar Miller on Nov. 8, 1952, and brothers Edgar Ingram and Bobby Ingram.

Survivors are sons Dale Miller and wife Carol of Salisbury and Kenneth W. Miller and wife Lynn of Gold Hill; daughter Linda Miller Hoyt and husband Sherman of Virginia; brothers Alton Ingram of Maryland and Buddy Ingram of Florida; sisters Margie I. Page and Pauline I. Dalton of Greensboro, Laura M. Lewis of Maryland and Mary C. Cates of Raleigh; grandchildren Kevin Miller, Amy Miller, Tammy Eller, Timothy Miller, Dana McCoy, Danny Miller, Mark Miller; step-granddaughter Victoria Hoyt; great-grandchildren Bradley Eller, Jacob Eller, Brittany Miller, Brandon Sims, Christina Sims and Corbin L. Oddie.

Service : Graveside, 2 p.m. Friday, Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Gold Hill conducted by the Rev. Roland Smith, pastor, St. Paul 's Wesleyan Church.

Visitation : 7-8:30 tonight at Powles Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the home of son Kenneth Miller, Gold Hill.

Memorials : Rowan Regional Home Health & Hospice; or Zion United Methodist Church, Stokes Ferry Road.
