Joseph Ray Misenheimer, 94, of 271 Oak View Lane, Asheboro, formerly of East Green Drive, High Point, died Thursday, April 15, 1999, at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Sechrest Funeral Home, High Point, with the Rev. John Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
He was a native of Rowan County, the widower of Roxana Jones Misenheimer, retired from Burlington Industries after 45 years, was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and later of Covenant Church United Methodist.
Surviving are daughter, Sylvia Simmons of Asheboro, sons, Joe Misenheimer of High Point, Rayford Misenheimer of Faith; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-8:30 p.m. Friday.
