MT. PLEASANT - Mr. Clifford Monroe Barrier 77, died April 2, 2001 at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord.
Graveside service is 11 am Thursday at Mission Baptist Church Cemetery in Stanfield, NC, with Reverend Dr. Ronnie Russell officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm tonight at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord.
Mr. Barrier was born in Cabarrus County, a son of the late Clyde S. Barrier and the late Bessie Faggart Barrier. He owned his own farm, and was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.
Mr. Barrier is survived by his wife, Callie H. Barrier of Mt. Pleasant; two daughters, Elaine B. Hall of Concord, and Susie B. Kidd of Stanfield; one brother, John Barrier of Concord; one sister, Irene Ridenhour of Stanfield; as well as four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Mission Baptist Church, 12444 Mission Church Road, Stanfield, NC 28163.
