Tuesday, January 13, 2009 — Barbara Annette (Owens) Moyle, 66, of 29477 Herrin’s Grove Road, Mount Pleasant, formerly of Albemarle, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. At other times the family will be at the home, 29477 Herrin’s Grove Road, Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral service will be at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, The Rev. Clinton Efird officiating. Interment will be at Herrin’s Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
Mrs. Moyle was born Sept. 8, 1942, in Stanly County, the daughter of the late Asa Jackson Owens and the late Lula Esther (Talbert) Owens. She was employed by Cannon Mills, Kannapolis, and was a member of Light House Baptist Church in Albemarle. Barbara loved cooking, reading, being a homemaker and trips to the beach.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Carrol Moyle, of Mt. Pleasant; a daughter, Melissa Annette Childress of New London; two sons, Mark A. Moyle of Albemarle and Michael T. Moyle of Richfield; and grandchildren, Anthony, Tonda, Dustin and Steven.
