Mrs. Zadie Weary Morgan, 84, of Richfield died at Autumn Care of Salisbury on Tuesday November 28, 2006.
Born April 19, 1922, in Granville County, NC, Mrs. Morgan was the daughter of the late A.L. Weary and Saphronia Currin Weary. She was educated in the Granville County School and was employed by Cartex Mills and was also a caregiver. Mrs. Morgan is a member of Wyatts Grove Baptist Church.
Mrs. Morgan is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Paulie Morgan and a son Mr. Gene Edward “Winky” Morgan. She is survived by her sons, Mr. Harry L. “Pee Wee” Morgan and wife Bobbie of Rockwell, Mr. William Thomas Morgan and wife Barbara of Kannapolis. Also surviving are grandsons, Mr. Rodney Wayne Morgan of Richfield, Mr. Rusty Thomas Morgan and wife Jenny of Kannapolis, and granddaughter Mrs. Ginger Jones and husband Phillip of Salisbury, great-grandchildren, MatthewThomas Morgan, Jaden and Jace Jones, and Brittney Hines.
Funeral services: 2:00 pm Friday at Powles Funeral Home Chapel, Rockwell, conducted by the Rev. David Jones, pastor Wyatts Grove Baptist Church, burial will follow at Wyatts Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Richfield, NC.
Visitation: 12:30 pm – 1:45 pm Friday at Powles Funeral Home, Rockwell.
