Benjamin Franklin Lemly

Benjamin Franklin Lemly, 64, died 15 Dec 1933 at the home of his brother A. N. Lemly near St. Peter's Church. He had been ill for a considerable time. His funeral will be held Saturday at 11 AM at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church with interment in the church cemetery. The service will be conducted by Rev. Frank P. Cauble, pastor of St. Matthew's.

Mr. Lemly was a farmer in Morgan township. Failing health had caused retirement.

Survivors: one brother, A. N. Lemly; one sister, Mrs. Betty J. Frick, both of Rowan County. Two sons: Garland and Gid of Davidson County. Four daughters: Mrs. Gertrude Reid, Mrs. Carrie Williams, Miss May Lemly, all of Rowan County, and Mrs. Fannie Gallimore of Davidson County.
