Alice Beaman

Thursday, March 1, 2012 ― Alice Misenheimer Deese Beaman, age 95, of 25224 Millingport Road, Locust, N.C., died at 7:29 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in her home.

The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home, Albemarle, on Thursday, March 1 from 6-8 p.m.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 at Stanly Funeral Home Chapel, Albemarle. Rev. Larry Pittman will officiate and burial will be in Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born September 25, 1916 in Stanly County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Carson and Pearl Roseman Misenheimer.

She was a graduate of Richfield High School, a Retired Beautician and Farmer and a member of Ridgecrest Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Beaman was married to her first husband, the late Theron Deese who preceded her in death in 1961 and her second husband, the late Robert Beaman who preceded her in death in 1980.

Survivors include a special nephew, Donald Misenheimer, whom she helped raise; one stepson, Bobby Beaman of Albemarle; one stepdaughter, Doris Rohloff of Atlantic Beach; three stepgrandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County.

Stanly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
