Zelma Dorothy “Dot” Stoner
Miss Zelma "Dot" Dorothy Stoner, 79 of Salisbury, NC passed away on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014 at Genesis Healthcare of Salisbury. Dot was born Sept. 29, 1934 in Rowan County the daughter of the late John David Stoner and Anna Kesler Stoner.
Dot was educated in the Rowan County Schools and was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Salisbury.
In addition to her parents she is also precdeded in death by brothers, Ray Stoner, Carl Lee Stoner, Claude Stoner, Ralph Stoner, Ned Stoner, Harold Stoner, sisters, Daisy Earnhardt, Mary Troutman, Pearl Poole and Eva Jean Stoner.
Miss Stoner is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Kay Overcash.
In lieu of flowers; donations may be made to Powles Funeral Home to assist with Funeral Expenses.
Powles Funeral Home of Rockwell is assisting the Stoner family.
