Betty Jean Holshouser
Betty Jean Holshouser, 88, of Rockwell, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC.
She was born November 11, 1932 in Rowan County to the late Mack and Lucille Basinger Hoffner. She was a graduate of the Rowan County Schools. Betty retired from Cannon Mills in Kannapolis. She also owned Twin Oaks Grill.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rockwell.
Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, working outside doing yardwork at her home, doing word puzzels and also enjoyed traveling.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her Husband, Dowlas Craig Holshouser, Brother, Donald "Don" Lee Hoffner, her Sisters Martha "Jo" Hoffner Almond and Hilda Ann Morgan.
Betty is survived by her Three Sons, Michael D. (Julia) Holshouser, Jeffrey "Jeff" C. (Sherria) Holshouser, Timmy "Tim" L. (Tammy) Holshouser; and her Daughter, Bonnie Jo (Roger) Sharpe. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Saturday, June 5, 2021, 9:00 am - 10:00 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rockwell, NC.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 5, 2021, in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rockwell, NC, with Pastor Bruce Sheeks officiating.
Burial will take place in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery following the funerals service.
Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2070 Emanuel Church Road, Rockwell, NC.
