Tuesday, August 8, 2006 — Mary Belle Barbee Little, 82, of 625 Bethany Road, Albemarle, formerly of 204 Church St., Locust, died at 11:12 a.m. Sunday in Stanly Manor.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. today at Carolina Presbyterian Church in Locust.
Her funeral will follow at 2 p.m. in the church, where she was a member. The Rev. Patrick Womack will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery in Locust.
Born Dec. 15, 1923, in Stanly County, she was a daughter of the late R.W. and Joy Hartsell Barbee.
She was a retired weaner for Cannon Mills in Kannapolis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doctor Craven Little, a brother and two sisters.
She is survived by a son, Delanie Little of Locust; three brothers, Bobby Harold Barbee, Joe Hood Barbee and Claudie Barbee, all of Locust; two sisters, Donnie Page of Locust and Betty Osborne of Conway, S.C.; and two grandchildren, Craig and Marty Little.
