Born Nov. 19, 1929, in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Monroe Lambert and Mary Faulkner Lambert. She attended Mount Pleasant High School. She enjoyed years as a caregiver in the home of G. Lee Barrier, Sarah Coventry Jewelry Representative, Townecraft Cookware Dealer, and as a housewife. But, in recent years, she pleasured enormously in her Yorkie pups and in her many "dog lover" friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Clifford Paul Eudy Sr. and Samuel Paul Carpenter Sr.; sisters, Margie Lambert, Mary Lois Nance, Vassie L. Honeycutt; and three brothers, "Bill" Lambert, Gene Lambert and Raymond Lambert.

Survivors include sons, Wayne Cruse and wife, Joyce, of Concord and Clifford Paul "Pete" Eudy Jr. and Teresa of Mount Pleasant; daughters, Paula E. Ritchie and husband, Don, of Mount Pleasant and Edie E. Forrest and husband, Jeff, of Concord; grandchildren, Tracy Cruse, Jeff Culp, Alora Carpenter, Zack Carpenter, Jeffrey Forrest, Jr., Jonathan Forrest; great-grandchild, Kristen Culp; sisters, Dorothy L. Trexler of Concord and Lucille L. Tucker of Reseda, Ga.; and brother, Roy Lee Lambert of The Lutheran Home, Albemarle.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Spirit of Faith Worship Center, Concord; or to the American Cancer Society.
