ALBEMARLE — Mack Craig "Preacher" Morgan II, 84, 424 N. 10th St., died Friday at Stanly Memorial Hospital.
Born in Anson County on April 17, 1916, he was the son of the late Carrie Miller and Mack Craig Morgan.
He was president of Morgan Motor Co. and a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Mabry Morgan.
Survivors include sons Mack Craig Morgan, Robert Terrel Morgan, Rodney Mabry Morgan and David Miller Morgan, all of Albemarle; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services: Sunday, 4 p.m., First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Gus Feather officiating. Burial, Fairview Memorial Park.
Visitation: 7-9 p.m. today, Hartsell Funeral Home. The remainder of the time, the family will be at the home on 10th Street.
Memorials: First Presbyterian Church; Stanly Memorial Hospital Foundation; or Albemarle Downtown Development.
