Mary Helen Kluttz Shive
Mary Helen Kluttz Shive, 94, of Salisbury, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018.
She was born March 19, 1924, in Rowan County to the late W.M. "Pete" and Rosa Camillia Earnhardt Kluttz. Mrs. Shive was a 1942 graduate of Rockwell High School, retired after 47 years from Cannon Mills Plant No. 1 in Kannapolis where she was a weaver, and was a long time member of Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Wayne "Cec" Shive, whom she married November 1, 1946, and who passed away November 7, 1982; daughter, Renee Shive Drye, who passed away March 18, 1981; siblings, Max Kluttz, Doc Kluttz, Jack Kluttz, Jo Eagle, Virginia "Bill" Sifford, "Big Boy" Kluttz, and Fern Ward.
Mrs. Shive is survived by her sister, Peggy Bost and husband, Hibbie, of Salisbury; brother, George Kluttz and wife, Jean, of Rockwell; and more than 30 nieces and nephews.
The family will greet friends and relatives from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith.
The funeral service follow at 3:00 PM on Sunday at Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith with Rev. Richard Myers officiating.
Burial will follow in Shiloh Reformed Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith.
