Roy Henry Kesler
Roy Henry Kesler, 65, of Julian Road, died Saturday (March 5, 2005) at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord.
Born on Oct. 16, 1939, in Stanly County, he was a son of the late William Kesler and Verna Parker Kesler.
Mr. Kesler was a retired mechanic.
Survivors include wife, Rachel Swaringen Kesler; sons Jimmy Dean Kesler, Rockwell, Phillip Bratcher, Norwood, and Russell Bratcher, Greensboro; daughters Tina McClory, Lake Monroe, Fla., and Dawn Ratliff, Norwood; brother Bob Kesler, Salisbury; sister, Jennie Lemley, Salisbury; and five grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, graveside at Porter Community Cemetery, Norwood, with the Rev. Robert Forward officiating.
Visitation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood. At other times, the family will be at their Norwood home.
Memorials: Porter United Methodist Church, c/o Mitzi Phillips, 36579 Silver Springs Road, Norwood, NC.
